Caring for Your Hydroshades

Keep your Hydroshades performing at their best with the right care. Proper cleaning ensures that the advanced lens technology continues to deliver crystal-clear vision and long-lasting protection.

Hydrocare – Anti-Fog Lens Shampoo

Hydrocare is specially developed for the Pro – Anti Fog model, which features our unique combination of anti-fog and hydrophobic technology on the inside of the lenses. Regular use helps maintain this effect, keeping your vision clear even in cold, wet, or rapidly changing conditions.

How to use Hydrocare:

  1. Rinse your lenses with fresh water.

  2. Apply a small amount of Hydrocare gently on the inside of the lenses as a shampoo/cleaner.

  3. Rinse thoroughly with water.

  4. Let your Hydroshades air-dry.

⚠️ Be careful when using a cloth on the inside of the lenses – even fine sand or dust particles may cause scratches or reduce the anti-fog performance.

For All Other Models

If you own Pro Superhydrophobic or Classic models, Hydrocare is not required. These lenses are easier to clean and maintain.

How to clean:

  • Wash gently with regular hand soap and lukewarm water.

  • Rinse thoroughly.

  • Let your Hydroshades air-dry naturally.

Extra Tips for Long-Lasting Performance

  • Always rinse with fresh water after use in salt water or chlorinated pools.

  • Store your Hydroshades in the included pouch or case when not in use.

  • Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight or hot cars for extended periods.

  • Handle the lenses carefully – advanced coatings deliver unique performance but require mindful care.
