Hydroshades Warranty & Returns Policy

We stand behind the quality of Hydroshades eyewear. Our products are designed for demanding watersports conditions, and we want you to be fully confident when using them.

Warranty Coverage

  • All Hydroshades sunglasses (non-prescription lenses) are warranted against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase.

  • This warranty covers defects such as frame cracks, hinge failures, or lens coating issues that are not the result of misuse or normal wear and tear.

  • Normal wear and tear (including scratches, accidental damage, or damage caused by improper use or storage) is not covered.

  • Sunglasses with prescription lenses are not covered under this warranty and will be returned without evaluation.

Warranty Process

  • If you purchased your Hydroshades directly from hydroshades.com, please contact us through our contact formor by email at post@hydroshades.com. Include your order number, description of the issue, and photos of the product if possible.

  • If you purchased your Hydroshades through an authorized retailer or distributor, please contact that retailer directly for warranty claims and returns.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law. We recommend using a tracked service, as Hydroshades cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

Resolution

  • After inspection, Hydroshades will repair or replace your product with an identical or equivalent model at no charge if covered under warranty.

  • Please allow 10–15 business days for processing once we receive your return.

  • If your item is not covered under warranty, we will contact you with options for repair, replacement, or return at your own cost.

Legal Rights

  • This warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights. Customers in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK also have a two-year legal guarantee under consumer law.

  • For customers outside the EEA/UK, warranty coverage is provided as stated above.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, broken nose pads, accidental drops).

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or modification.

  • Exposure to chemicals, extreme temperatures, or improper storage.

  • Lost or stolen items.

  • Purchases from unauthorized resellers.
